We launched the first session of our online participatory training, Centering People, Creating Knowledge, focused on Participatory Action Research (PAR) and ethical, meaningful partnerships between academia, communities, and civil society organizations.
At Reka Si Research and Art Institute, we designed this training for communities and researchers using experiential learning methods to unpack what PAR means in practice and to critically reflect on ethics, integrity, methodologies of knowledge production, and the iterative action–reflection cycle.
Dates: 11 - 13 May 2026 (9:30 - 11:30 CET)
Language: English
Reka Si will run Part 2 of Module 4: Gender-Transformative Approach: in person on 2 Oct 2025, 10:00-13:15 (Kotnikova 28). The hands-on session uses simulations and role-play to show how to embed gender-transformative, intersectional approaches across the project life cycle for Connect for Global Change subgrantees - and for NGO staff aiming to uplevel their work by integrating these approaches into their projects.
About Module 4
Module 4: A Gender-Transformative Approach, is part of the Connect for Global Change toolkit, which consists of five learning modules that can be completed separately.
We designed and delivered a training course on Transformative Safeguarding for Anti-Corruption in Veles, Macedonia, as part of the Key Action 2 European programme DigitalVsCorrupt.
As an intersectional-feminist organisation, we lead participatory research grounded in self-agency.
