The content is based on the lived experiences and collective knowledge of migrant and refugee womxn from diverse backgrounds. Developed using a Feminist Participatory Action Research (FPAR) approach, the booklet was co-created by womxn as active contributors, ensuring that the information responds to real needs, challenges, and questions. A transformative safeguarding framework guided the process, prioritizing safety, dignity, and care.
This peer-driven resource was developed within the scope of the MARIO (Minorities, Accountability, Rights, Independence and Organisational Development) programme, managed by Minority Rights Group and co-financed by the European Union.
