This study integrates queer and decolonial feminist theories with migration studies, highlighting the role of queer community arts within the diaspora in promoting intercultural, sexual, and gender liberation. The author-a queer community artist who migrated from Jordan to Slovenia-facilitated reflective dialogue sessions with three fellow artists who migrated from Iran, Syria, and Egypt to Slovenia and the Netherlands. These sessions culminated in the co-creation of two queer community art performances, "1834: Al Ghawazi & Khawalat" and "Not Your Scheherazade & Om Badawi." Using (auto)ethnographic methods informed by action research, the study conducts thematic analysis to systematically compare queer community arts practices with autonomous social work, thereby contributing to scholarship on self-agency in migration.
